Jennifer Weaver Horgan, Lead Clinician, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with abundant experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2004, with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Jennifer continued her education at the University of Florida, earning an M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2006.
After graduation, Jennifer moved to Atlanta, GA where she spent four years as a speech language pathologist in the public school system. During those four years, Jennifer assessed, diagnosed and treated children with deficits in articulation, phonology, fluency, voice and semantic, syntactic and pragmatic language. She worked with children with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, Landau Kleffner Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, severe/profound intellectual disabilities and cleft palate.
Jennifer spent two years working in an independent living community for adults with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. While she loves working with adults, Jennifer missed working with children. She joined Express Yourself Speech Pathology Services in June 2011. Jennifer holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a professional license and teaching certificate in Speech Language Pathology from the State of Georgia. Jennifer and her husband, Tim, currently reside in Brookhaven.
