Allie Sheffield, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who currently works for Fulton County Schools and joined Express Yourself Speech Pathology Services in 2016. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011 with a B.A. in Communicative Disorders and a minor in Human Development. She then went on to obtain her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alabama in 2013.
While working for Fulton County Schools, Allie has gained experience with assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with deficits in receptive and expressive language, articulation, phonology, and pragmatic language. She has worked with children who have various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Prader Willi Syndrome, traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, ADHD, and social/emotional disorders through individual, group, and in-class speech services. In her spare time, Allie is a special needs cheerleading coach and enjoys watching her team collaborate, compete, and expand their speech-language skills outside of the classroom setting.
Allie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as a professional license and teaching certificate in Speech Language Pathology from the State of Georgia.
